These windows are designed to avoid adverse impacts to priority species (federal and state listed, and other sensitive or vulnerable species). WDFW recognizes that aggresive treatment for emerging noxious weeds may sometimes be advisable during these treatment windows. In these situations, the Washington Department of Ecology, and the Permitee must consult with WDFW to determine an alternate window and ways to minimze or mitigate treatment impacts to fish and wildlife.
